Seyyed Hassan Khomeini made remarks during a meeting with the head and senior authorities from judiciary while they were paying a pilgrimage visit to the holy shrine of the late founder of the Islamic Republic.
The judiciary members were pledging allegiance to Imam’s ideals ahead of the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that the biggest task that anyone has is to create hope among all segments of the society
The days of Rajab and Sha'ban have a blessed connection with one of the famous supplications, which inspire hope and describe disappointment as sin, the reputed scholar explained
“The leader of the Islamic Revolution had once asked the Imam a question about the recommended the complete supplications which should be recited during these blessed months. Imam had recommended Dua Komail and Munajat-e- Shabaniyah,” Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said.
The holy months of Rajab and Sha'ban have special and blessed connection withthese famous supplications narrated by infallible successors of the holy prophet of Islam, he stated.
The supplications contain expression which means “God forbidding, our hopes may not be broken" and it is because one of the biggest sins is "despair".
The result of despairing is strictly prohibited in our religious literature, the reputed scholar said.
Unfortunately, today atmosphere of liberal democracy has cut off our expectation from God the Almighty.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini advised to remain committed to spirituality and seeking assistance from God the Almighty in order to keep and revive hop among society under all circumstance and in all thick and thin times.
