35th book exhibition closes in the Iranian capital Tehran

The 35th edition of the Tehran International Book Fair which had been underway for last ten days and was open for audience has now ended at the Grand Mosalla mosque of Tehran.

Hundreds of domestic and international publishers took part in the book fair in the Iranian capital this year.

On Thursday, on the sidelines of the exhibition, an academic gathering discussing ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Republic was held on Thursday, on the sidelines of 35th International Book Exhibition in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

 The event was attended by Hojjat al-Islam Ali Kamsari, head of institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works, a number of senior government officials, scholars and seminary and university professors.

Tehran International Book Fair is staged in Tehran in May on an annual basis. The first edition of the international cultural event was held in 1988 with 16 thousand titles of books on show. The cultural event has turned into a landmark, momentous book fair in the Middle East and Asia after 34 editions in a row.

Millions of visitors visit the fair every year, including thousands of university students, scholars, and their families. The event currently serves as the most significant cultural event in Iran.

The 35th Tehran International Book Fair took place from May 8th to May 18th, 2024, at the Grand Mosalla mosque of Tehran.

Expos and exhibitions are best platform to introduce and promote the dynamic thought and works of Imam Khomeini. Therefore the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini's always sets up stalls at such expos to introduce Imam's works in printed and digital forms.

The book fair was visited by thousands of visitors on daily basis in recent days and became the focus of attention by scholars, philosophers and intellectuals.
